we have such a blast designing tablescapes and bouquets for our guest post, outside the flower box, on brooklyn bride. we get to have total creative freedom and choose any flowers, berries, fruits, and veggies you could think of. are these peonies not to die for?! the eucalyptus smelled like heaven.

it's officially winter here in nyc and winter makes me want one thing. the sun.

since were not going to feel any of it's warmth for awhile, i found this photo, snapped by trent bailey, of a bride in nola very pleasing. it looks so tropical and warm. i'd like to be riding that exact bike down a sunny street. stay warm!

bad ass wedding 2010!

we truly love all of our clients and have a blast working with some of the most creative brides out there! however, if we were going to pick favorites (which were not), erica and alan would be very high on our list! when we sat down with erica she gave us an idea of what type of atmosphere she wanted her design to invoke and the type of experience she wanted her guests to have. from there she really let us fly with our ideas and the outcome was a bad ass wedding! set at the foundry, she and alan had an amazing line up of vendors that made this evening truly special. below is a sneak peek at some of our favorite shots, but make sure to check out the full feature today on 100 layer cake!

a couple of weeks ago jen huang and i found our way (barely) to the melangerie trunk show at the brooklyn collective. i say barely because it did involve me picking jen up off the side of the street not long after i found myself lost on the same dark corner. it was well worth the adventure once we made it! melangerie sold some beautiful goods and there was a photo booth!
