the perfect slipper
i think i stumbled upon the perfect slipper for your "big day" and beyond! christy makes eco friendly, vegan shoes mostly because she enjoys living naturally and comfortably. now we can too! check out her etsy shop, the generation.

sofreh-ye aghd
one of our favorite parts about designing flowers and decor elements for weddings are the cultural traditions that are woven into each day. this fall we're very excited to be a part of an orthodox, persian, and indian wedding! while each will have slightly different designs they'll all be beautiful in their own unique ways.
i wanted to share some beautiful images i stumbled upon while looking for sofreh-ye aghd inspiration.

farm to table
this past weekend my boyfriend, michael of stuart & welch catering, and i traveled to pennsylvania with some of our family for a nice relaxing mini vacation. his family's property where we stayed is so outrageously amazing it makes me want to pack up, move to the country, and start my very own vegetable garden.
being that michael is an incredible chef we always spend a good portion of our time in pa cooking delicious meals and enjoying them outdoors. this summer we were able to enjoy the fruits of his family's labor, a fresh vegetable garden! picking fresh veggies five minutes before we cooked dinner gave the term "farm to table" a whole new meaning.

lovely & romantic
last night lovely bride hosted a trunk show for two of the most talented accessories designers around, amanda of untamed petals and best friend lauren from lo boheme. we dropped some flowers off in mason jars, vintage medicine bottles, and vintage science beakers to compliment all of the gorgeous pieces. so fun!

Janelle Sing
If anybody saw the recent issue of Non Pareil Magazine, in which we were lucky enough to collaborate on a Mad Men inspired wedding photo shoot, then you probably spotted the seriously chic, custom luggage that
NYC designer, Janelle Sing, constructed for it. Aside from being one of my favorite people in the world, she is out of control talented. Check out her blog at http://giovanniandgiotto.blogspot.com/. She is starting a line of waxed cotton goods that I can't wait to get my hands on!
The luggage in theory...
And in practice...

domestic construction!
we're so super psyched about recently meeting and collaborating on future projects with the incredible duo known as domestic construction! this powerhouse design team lead by, trish & maureen, tackle event styling, commercial projects, product design and basically anything else you could dream of. everything they touch is totally bad ass!
when recently perusing their website to get inspired by their work i came across a recent project they worked on at the savannah college of art and design. {photos by adam kuehl}
make sure to keep an eye out for a collaboration between p&p and domestic construction!

a lovely park wedding
there is really nothing sweeter than a small intimate wedding. it was such a pleasure designing hair flowers and boutonnieres for missy's family a few weeks ago. the wedding was held in central park and the bride is just stunning!
