I recently visited the Cooper Hewitt to see the Why Design Now Exhibition. It was fabulous! Among the highlights, for me, were the Adspecs. These glasses were developed to be a low cost eye wear option used mostly in the developing world. The glasses utilize simple technology that allows the user to "fill" their own prescription by injecting the lens with liquid.
