inspiration

as i walked down the street in bk the other day i crossed by the most magnificent pink magnolia tree. it was just one lonely tree that someone had planted in a street box. i saw it again at the market this morning and just can't get enough.

getting dirty in bk

jess planting some pansies along side our dahlias

our dahlia plants we bought at the park slope farmers market on saturday

this past weekend was absolutely gorgeous in nyc. so, my girlfriends and i took the opportunity to garden in my boyfriend's backyard. this backyard space is really a diamond in the ruff. it may look a bit bare now, but as soon as everything blooms i plan on spending a significant amount of time lounging back there. he already has hydrangea bushes that are coming back from past years and every day something new is blooming. oh and did i mention he has a fire pit and he owns stuart & welch catering?! now that is a recipe for a yummy summer.

j'adore samuelle couture!!!

Recently p&p had the pleasure of attending the UrbanWed event here in NYC(see funny pictures below); hosted by the lovely Vane Broussard of Brooklyn Bride! That is where I set eyes on, and fell madly in love with, the wedding dresses from design house Samuelle Couture. Every dress is unique to the bride and is designed with her sense of style in mind. Gorgeous!!!

p.s. We hear through the grapevine that these gorgeous dresses will be available at the new and deeply fabulous Lovely Bridal Shop... Opening in NYC's west village on April 8th!

Janet Morales & Stu Eli both grew up collecting things.
They are married, to each other.
Their backgrounds are in the graphic design industry.
In 2007, they started Three Potato Four because of their love of collections.
Together they run Three Potato Four and take care of their two little potatoes - Holly and Otis.

*they have a wedding section online*
